Activist Post: Mother Torn from Nursing Baby After Arrest For Minor Code Violation

Activist Post: Mother Torn from Nursing Baby After Arrest For Minor Code Violation: Some months ago in Colorado, a very pregnant Renee Abbott received a knock on the door by a sheriff's deputy alerting her that the Abbotts' cows were loose and needed immediate rounding because they were in the municipal right of way. So she obeyed and did this by herself resulting in a fall and hospitalization. Their fence looked like it had been deliberately damaged by vandals - which is how the cows got loose. The deputy issued her a ticket for “grazing animals in the municipal right of way" even though it was an accident, not even by their doing.

Months went on, baby was fine, and Ethan and Renee were sitting down to dinner with their kids ages seven and four months on April 7 when Weld County law enforcement officers showed up and arrested Renee for - grazing animals in the municipal right of way. God forbid they accidentally eat the special municipal grass! Throw that mom in jail!

Accurate Citation: Chris O'Brien's Stalking the Trickster

Chris O'Brien, in his Stalking the Tricksters: Shapeshifters, Skinwalkers, Dark Adepts and 2012 writes:
Another recent incident of a so-called "man-bat" sighting was e-reported to Tim Binnell (sic) by a witness in Oregon.
This is the so-called "e-report" O'Brien writes that Tim received:
The "thing" was about 15 ft. from the witness at about 1:15 A.M. behind his house. He accidentally locked himself out of his house while working in his garage late last night. He went around to the back of his house to climb in through a window. He heard something and used the light from his cell phone, pointing it in the direction of the sound. The thing had a human form only quite large over seven feet with red reflecting eyes and very large wings. It jumped into the air flying off with the sound of massive air displacement with each wing stroke.

Actually, that passage was from my article Sacrificial Lambs Unto the Demon: Batsquatch in Oregon, May 5, 2009 that I wrote for my Trickster's Realm column, which appears on Tim Binnall's site. In the notes section, the link to the article is given, but without credit to name, title or column.

UFOs - scientific research: Alien abductions - the answer?

Keith Basterfield at UFOs has an interesting item on alien abductions:UFOs - scientific research: Alien abductions - the answer?. I left a comment:
David Jacobs can no longer be taken seriously as a researcher, given his paranoid scenarios concerning email hacking aliens, and his unethical (putting it mildly) and downright creepy treatment of Emma Woods.

As to abductions in general, we still don't know the why or what. Maybe the explanation is a little bit of truth from all who've offered suggestions based on their experiences. I think we're in the way of our understanding -- that much is clear. Some of us have had downright weird, life long UFO related experiences that march right up to 'Alien Abduction 101' and yet (I place myself in that category) can't say for certain that abductions took place, let alone accepting they take place at all. Then again, maybe they do.
Always interesting, and, always frustrating, because no one has any idea at all, after all this time. The post notes the observation that it does seem alien abduction reports seem to be on the decline; we're just not hearing about them as much. The second point is, as I commented at his blog: David Jacobs no longer gets to be included when considering research.

Kithra's Krystal Kave: My Thoughts on Maggie Thatcher

Kithra, who lives in the UK,  (and it's good to see you back with a post kithra!) shares her thoughts on Margaret Thatcher:

My Thoughts on Maggie Thatcher

Well, as everyone else seems to be jumping on the bandwagon, and others have asked me, I thought I’d add my thoughts on the passing of Margaret Thatcher. I’m afraid they aren’t kind and, for those of you who didn’t have to live under her premiership, or are not old enough to remember her, you will probably never fully understand what those times were like.

I’m not mourning her. In fact I wrote elsewhere that when I first heard the news of her death, at the same time that it was announced on TV, my very first thought was “Ding Dong, the Wicked Witch is Dead.” I felt guilty for thinking that as I’m not a callous person. My next thought, of course, was that I felt sympathy for her family. On that day the Wizard of Oz song hadn’t started to be used by the campaign now afoot to get it to the top of the charts, although after reading some Twitter posts, and at other places, I see that, naturally, I wasn’t the only person to have that thought. That song is now causing a huge stir, with many radio stations having to make decisions on whether to play it on their chart show or not. The BBC, of course, is doing a fudge, explaining why it’s become a news item, and then only playing about five seconds of it.

I very much disliked the woman, right from the moment that she was elected. And on that day she quoted from the famous Prayer of St Francis of Assisi, the contents of which were the very opposite of what she did.
The rest at Kithra's Krystal Kave.

Stephen Wagner: You Might Be Psychic - 6 Signs That You Might Be Psychic

(thanks to Lesley at The Debris Field for link.)
You Might Be Psychic - 6 Signs That You Might Be Psychic: If you've always suspected that you have extrasensory perception, here are six signs that you indeed might be psychic

THOSE WHO HAVE made a lifetime of the study of psychic phenomena suspect that most, if not all of us are psychic to one degree or another. I'm sure most of us can point to events in our lives that indicate instances of telepathy (communication of thoughts) or precognition (knowing what is going to happen). Perhaps it's only happened once or a few times.

Perhaps, however, it happens to you quite frequently. Can you then be considered truly, strongly psychic? Here are six signs to look for.

On UFO Digest: Diane Tessman on UFOs and the Paranormal Connection

Diane Tessman, at UFO Digest, asks:
Exploring the Question: Are UFOs and The Paranormal World Connected?: Why can’t we humans handle the combination of UFOs and The Paranormal and get this UFO enigma figured out?
Good question. My own experiences confirm that yes, there are paranormal aspects to much of the UFO phenomena.
