What the...? We've been watching this series on DVD, and I thought they were all fiction episodes. Weird!
This is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. There's something really freaky about it--like it's been filmed contemporarily and made to look vintage. (NOT implying that is the case, of course! Just trying to describe the feeling I get.) Maybe they used prehistoric videotape for it and it translates badly digitally? It seems like it would be something the characters on "Lost" would watch in the 2nd season.
