As noted in the post, portals do seem to come and go on this earth. Are they literal, psychical -- or para-physical - openings created by extraterrestrials or something more supernatural? Are they, as GHT asks, something to do with the earth itself? Or, as my conspiratorial mind leans towards, in part manipulations by deep psy ops? Some combination of the above.
